I-40 near the Tennessee line in Haywood County at Mile Marker 4. Here’s a look at the road as of yesterday. Hurricane Helene has destroyed the road in many sections. 40 is expected to be closed here for an extended period of time, maybe up to a year. This will be a big impact road closure.
