Update 10/10/24 8am: People helping people help people…so much can be accomplished when working together. This past 10 days has been a testament to that. There are countless numbers of people we want to thank so far, but this morning we wanted to mention these two groups we were especially honored to work with. 82nd Airborne welcomed us in to their camp so that we could pack up to head up the mountain. It’s nice seeing the smiles the mules bring to even the toughest of soldiers. And Diamondback Wranglers, a special group of retired Special Operations Forces, (one soldier was a part of the horse unit in Afghanistan) contacted Mike to be ground support for the mules, leading the way on the trail on foot to clear trail that any pack boxes couldn’t get through. They came from West Virginia. Special thanks to Dan Sullivan for his farrier skills and taking great care of the mules’ feet as well!
