Individuals from Chazak Rescue have established a command center in North Carolina where they are collecting and distributing truckloads of supplies to aid those who have lost everything due to Hurricane Helene. Chazak staff and volunteers are currently clearing out roads and doing wellness checks for people who haven’t heard from their loved ones.
Chazak has partnered with PCCR and JAARS to supply food and access areas that are closed off because of washed out roads, and bring hope and aid to these people in their time of need.
Chazak’s mission focuses on reaching the unreached internationally, but we also recognize the urgent need to respond to disasters within our own country and assist those in hopeless situations. In light of this, some staff and Guardians have stepped up in an unofficial capacity to provide aid during these critical times.
